VSM FamilyVibrating Sample Magnetometry
Product Highlights:
DescriptionThe EV series Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) models differ only in the maximum field they can reach (and because of that in the size of the magnet that is used). A selection table is shown below.

Room temperature max field measurements taken at a sample space of 5 mm.
A range of options for the VSM systems is available including MR, sample temperature control, automatic rotation Vector and Torque.
The Model 10 VSM is the worlds most accurate vector magnetometer, with a vector detection system that is up to 15x more accurate than other vector magnetometer systems.
The R&D 100 Award winning X9 MPAS features an automatic sample loading station where up to 90 samples can be loaded in cassettes for fully automatic analysis, finding the easy axis, performing easy and hard axis low and high field VSM and Magneto Resistance measurements.
All ADE VSMs offer the unique real-time direct field control, which is much faster and much more accurate than any other method used to control the magnetic field.
Additionally, the ADE VSM is the only VSM that offers a single temperature chamber that covers both 'cold' and 'hot' temperatures in a continuous range. This eliminates the cumbersome need for a separate oven and cryostat.
ADE offers a true torque magnetometer for very accurate measurements of Anisotropy. This method is more accurate than doing torque estimates with a torque simulation on a normal vector VSM. Torque can be purchased as an option to the EV series VSMs or as a stand alone torque magnetometer, the ET9.
